In a video that went viral on social media, it can be seen as MS Dhoni was walking back after the toss,CSK bowler Deepak Chahar seemed to have said something to MS Dhoni and the latter proceeded to playfully hit Chahar. The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media.

Dhoni (20, 9 balls, 1x4, 2x6) smacked Khaleel Ahmed for a couple of maximums in the penultimate over to give a push to the score on an evening when run-making wasn't very easy.

Dhoni is associated with CSK since the opening season of the rich-cash league, besides a two-season stint with now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant from 2016-17.
