BJP State General Secretary Locket Chatterjee on May 08 reacted to Mamata Banerjee banning the film ‘The Kerala Story’ in West Bengal. She alleged that CM Mamata Banerjee is trying to ban the film as she is hiding something. She also said that she seeks votes in the names of Bengalis but bans a film on Muslims. While speaking to ANI, Locket Chatterjee said, “She made a huge mistake. She doesn't know Bengalis...If she is banning ‘The Kerala Story’, it seems Mamata Banerjee is anti-Hindu, anti-India and anti-women. The film is based on ISIS and nothing else. It means she is trying to ban this film to hide something. She is banning a film by Sudipto Sen, a Bengali filmmaker. She seeks votes in the names of Bengalis but bans a film on Muslims. This has been done for Muslim votes.”
