Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:09AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.62%), Aries Agro(up 2.15%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.16%), Sikko Industries(up 1.07%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.06%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.96%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.51%), National Fertilizer(up 0.43%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 0.42%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.25%) were among the top gainers.

Bohra Industries(down 4.94%), G S F C(down 2.37%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.24%), Coromandel International(down 0.83%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.71%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.53%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.45%), KRISHANA(down 0.26%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.20%) and Agro Phos(down 0.13%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 61.15 points up at 18325.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 192.96 points at 61957.21 at around 10:09AM.

Coal India(up 2.34%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.98%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.84%), Tata Motors(up 1.71%), IndusInd Bank(up 1.42%), Asian Paints(up 1.3%), Larsen & Toubro(up 1.29%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.13%), Tata Steel(up 1.1%) and Hero MotoCorp(up 1.0%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, UPL Ltd(down 2.16%), State Bank of India(down 0.75%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.75%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.41%), SBI Life(down 0.2%), ITC(down 0.19%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.18%), HCL Technologies(down 0.11%) and Hindalco Industries(down 0.01%) were trading in the red.
