YSR Police busts interstate bike lifters' gang; arrests 4 thieves in Andhra Pradesh

TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh's YSR Police on Tuesday arrested four interstate bike thieves and recovered 21 stolen bikes from their possession.
YSR district superintendent of police KKN Anburajan told reporters that the accused were identified as Mallepogu Prasad (32), G Pulla Reddy (35), Dandu Narasimhulu (31) and P Charan Kumar (35) — all belonging to Yerraguntla town in YSR district.
"The four accused were seasoned offenders who would take just 15-30 seconds to unlock bikes using marked duplicate keys for specific models. The gang used to sell off the stolen bikes for Rs 10,000-15,000 to maintain a lavish lifestyle," Anburajan said.
