    Max Financial shares rise 1.72% as Sensex climbs

    Shares of the Max Financial Services Ltd. traded at Rs 670.8 on BSE at 10:15AM (IST) on Tuesday, up 1.72 per cent from previous close.

    The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 599.3 and a high of Rs 884.7.

    Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

    A total of 11,109 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:15AM (IST).

    The stock of Max Financial Services Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 23133.04 crore.

    The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 51.38, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.61. Return on equity (ROE) was at 6.43 per cent, according to exchange data.

    In the BSE500 pack, 358 stocks traded in the green, while 143 stocks were in the red.

    Promoters held 10.15 per cent in the Max Financial Services Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2023 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 47.7 per cent and 34.06 per cent, respectively.
