Smith vs Eubank Jr: What’s been said?
Smith has explained why the fight has been moved from June to July.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "It's only going to be pushed back to July 1, two weeks.
"I've just had a bit of a niggle, a bit of a back problem that has caused me to not be able to train for the past two weeks, so I tried to get the fight delayed and I'm thankful it's only delayed a few weeks.
"I think I'm there now, I think I'm over it. A 100 per cent Liam Smith beats Chris Eubank Jr everyday of the week and twice on a Sunday, so that's what I'll be.
"I'm not going to kid people and say I can fight at 60 or 70 per cent because I don't believe that."
In terms of how Smith is feeling ahead of the rematch, he said: "I'm 100 per cent confident because I'm not going to kid people and say I can be anything less. No matter what I did last time, it's still a tough ask, so I'll be 100 per cent."
"My mindsets great, it always is, I've got a very strong mindset and I know the task at hand and everything away from the cameras, away from Chris, away from the press conferences, I know what I have to do with my team in the gym and I've got a good enough family around me.
"I know what shape I have to be in with every fight, not just Chris and I'm at the latter end of my career now, so I know anything less than 100% and I'll lose to him, so that's what I will be."
