Mumbai: Man bangs his toddler's head on floor

MUMBAI: Bangur Nagar police registered a FIR against a 21-year-old man for allegedly banging his 15-month-old son on the floor in a fit of anger.
A case was registered after the toddler's mother, a TV actress, approached police after she found her son injured. The case was registered against her husband after she saw the incident captured on a CCTV camera. Police are yet to make an arrest. Police said the child's condition is reported to be stable.
Police said the complainant, a divorcee, married the share trader after they dated each other since 2020. When the accused learned that she was pregnant he insisted on her going in for an abortion. But doctors objected on medical terms.
Later, the two got married. But the two used to fight over petty issues. The incident occurred when the accused was asked to calm their 14-month-old son who was crying. Instead, the accused took the toddler to the bedroom and banged his head.
