FIR after social media user tweets 'revenge post' on Atiq killing

PRAYAGRAJ: An FIR was filed against an unidentified individual at a cybercrime station in Prayagraj after a social media post vowed to take "revenge" for the killing of gangster Atiq Ahmed, police said.
"The FIR was lodged on the directives of the Special DG (law & order) under section 505 (b) of IPC (statements creating or promoting enmity, hatred or ill-will between classes) and IT Act. Police have begun a probe," said a senior police official.
Sources said the police team has also tracked the location of the account from where it was tweeted. The tweet also contains a video and inflammatory words like Atiq's sons are still alive.
