The filmmaker recently announced that there would be a "Custody" sequel. They also claimed that they have started writing it and that part 1 would contain hints for fans to learn more about part 2. He further stated, "I may not be able to speak properly in the telugu language event, but I will ensure that I speak proficiently in the sequel pre-release event."

Fans are eager to learn who will play the major role in naga Chaitanya's sequel and when it will be released. Will the director choose a different hero this time or will he choose naga chaitanya again? director venkat Prabhu promised participants during the occasion that he will talk entirely in telugu, most likely at the Custody 2 pre-release event. In this way, he hinted at the existence of a Custody sequel. Fans were intrigued by this assertion.
