Pune man held for murder of his father

PUNE: The Paud police on Sunday arrested a 40-year-old man from Kumbheri village in Mulshi taluka for bludgeoning his father to death. A police probe revealed that the man killed his father on Saturday night after he beat up his mother, suspecting her of infidelity.
An officer from the Paud police said that after seeing the father unconscious, the mother fainted. "She gained consciousness early on Sunday morning and alerted the sarpanch, who informed police patil Vasant Dalvi," the officer said.
