Female drug peddler among two held with in Jammu

JAMMU: Jammu police arrested two drug peddlers, one of them a woman, and seized 3 kg ganja (high quality cannabis) and 164 grams of heroin, achieving a big success in its drive against narcotics trafficking and substance abuse.
A team led by sub-divisional police officer (east), Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari arrested one Reema and recovered cannabis from her possession.
Another police team led by SDPO (west) Vikram Singh, arrested Mohd Sharief, a resident of Reasi, and seized heroin from him.
FIRs were registered under the NDPS Act and further investigation is on in both the cases.
