Westfield declares Sports Commission to improve tourism

Westfield is trying to grow and expand its standing as a sports tourist destination in the US.

The Hamilton County city is famous for its Grand Park Events Center along with the park itself. At the events center, all types of sports tournaments and games are being organized time to time.

The city declared the recently constructed Westfield Sports Commission today.

The group says their main aim is to market Grand Park further, in and around the province and country, as trying to build up additional sports business opportunities for Westfield as well.

Andy Cook, Westfield Mayor, said that the newly built Sports Commission is a natural succession of Westfield’s leadership in sports tourism industry constructed around Grand Park and the Events Center. In 2022, around 3.5 million people visited the campus. The recently formed commission enriches the quality of life of their residents of this place at the same time, driving financial development via sports.

The Westfield Sports Commission will work separately of the city to encourage Westfield as an ideal place for sports tourism and act as the organizing body increasing the business in terms of sports.
