    Increasing promoter stake: These 5 stocks surge up to 190% in 1 year

    The percentage of ownership and movements of promoters can have a significant impact on a company's growth. A higher stake by promoters indicates their confidence in the business and their willingness to invest more toward its growth. ET Markets conducted an analysis of companies in the BSE universe where the promoters have consistently increased their stake in the preceding three-quarters of FY23. Only 15 stocks have met this criterion, and among them, 10 have had positive returns in the past year (Data Source: ACE Equity). Interestingly, five of these top-performing stocks have seen gains ranging from 25-193%, with all of them having more strengths on the SWOT analysis, as per Trendlyne.
