The State's maximum daily temperature was recorded in peddapalli at 41.9 degrees Celsius, followed by sultanabad (41.6 degrees) and Kamanpur (41.4 degrees). The daily maximum temperatures in hyderabad were typically around 38 degrees Celsius.

According to the IMD, a cyclonic circulation has developed over the southeasterly portion of the Bay of bengal, which indicates that the atmosphere in this area rotates in the same direction as the earth. On May 8, this is probably going to result in a low-pressure area in the area.

On May 9, the low-pressure area is forecast to become a depression over the southeast corner of the Bay of bengal and the nearby South andaman Sea. Then, as it moves slowly northward into the centre of the Bay of bengal and the nearby North andaman Sea, it is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm, according to the meteorological department.
