RAF, Punjab Police hold flag march near blast site in Amritsar

With aim to restore public confidence post the concerning blast near the Saragarhi Sarai in Amritsar, the Rapid Action Force along with the Punjab Police held a flag march on May 08. Briefing on the investigation, Amritsar ADCP Mehtab Singh, also urged the people to maintain peace in the area. The Saragarhi Sarai blast took place on May 06 and ended up injuring several people. The injuries were caused due to the shattered windowpanes during the blast. An investigation into the matter is underway.
