HARPANAHALLI (VIJAYNAGARA):
BJP national president JP Nadda said, "If BJP loses in the state, all the projects coming from the Centre might be stopped."
In an election campaign meeting, on Sunday, after holding a roadshow in support of BJP candidate G Karunakar Reddy, Nadda requested to support the double-engine government at the Centre and the state and warned, "If the Siddaramaiah government comes to power, many projects of the Centre including Kisan Samman might be halted."
"Congress has lost morals to speak against BJP due to its connection with PFI and the scandals like Malaprabha project, borewell, Arkavathi denotification, and over steel flyover work happened when Siddaramaiah was the CM," he alleged. He said, "BJP government has given internal reservation to Scheduled Castes. The percentage of reservations for Scheduled Tribes, Lingayats, and Vokkaligas are hiked, but Siddaramaiah says if Congress comes to power, they will cancel the reservation hike. Such people should be taught a proper lesson in this election."
"Congress leaders like Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and D K Shivakumar have corruption charges against them and are now out on bail. All of them will be jailed if the charges are proven," he sneered. At the beginning of the speech, he shouted 'Bajrang Bali Ki Jai' and made the crowd cheerful.
