2 women killed as MiG-21 fighter aircraft crashes in Rajasthan, pilot safe

The aircraft had taken off from Suratgarh.

New Delhi: Two civilian women died and a man was injured in Bahalolnagar in Rajasthan Monday when an MiG-21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed on their house.

The rescue operation was underway, Superintendent of Police Sudhir Chaudhary told news agency ANI.

The plane had taken off from Suratgarh and the pilot was safe, the agency reported.
