BJP OBC Morcha worker grievously assaulted by former Mayor of Congress: Tejasvi Surya

Reacting to protest staged by BJP members against KPCC working President Ramalinga Reddy on grievous assault by the Congress former mayor of Manjunath Reddy in Bengaluru, BJP Yuva Morcha President Tejasvi Surya on May 8 targeted Karnataka’s former Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy for using his influence over police and using rowdies over such assaults. He also demanded time bounded action against such assaults.He said, “Yesterday, BJP OBC Morcha worker was grievously assaulted by the former mayor of Congress, Manjunath Reddy. Since then, it took also most 3 hours for FIR to be registered as local MLA (from BTM layout) and ex-state HM Ramalinga Reddy tried to use his influence over police here and use rowdies. Two more incidents of assaults on our party workers happened today. Police have said two people were taken into custody.”
