Based on real-life story, ‘The Kerala Story’ is creating public awareness: MoS Meenakashi Lekhi

Minister of State Ministry of External Affairs Meenakashi Lekhi on May 08 came forward in support of the film ‘The Kerala Story, which became controversial due to its storyline. While talking to ANI, Union Minister of State Meenakashi Lekhi said that the movie is based on real-life story and is creating public awareness. “It is based on real-life story and it is creating public awareness. Some evils have come to society and it is necessary to end those evils, of which love jihad is one. Ask them (Congress) what is the propaganda for... I can tell with figures and the figures are also shown in the film. Single girl children are being targeted the most in Kerala,” said Meenakashi Lekhi.
