27-year-old woman from Hyderabad killed in shooting incident in Texas in US

HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old professional from Hyderabad, Aishwarya Thatikonda, was killed in the shooting incident at a mall in Texas in US.
She is one of the eight victims in the incident in which the gunman was killed by an alert policeman.
A male friend of Aishwarya was also injured in the gun violence. He suffered bullet injuries. Authorities have not yet given out his identity.
Aishwarya’s family lives at Saroornagar in the city. She was working as a project manager with Perfect General Contractors LLC at Frisco in Texas, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Aishwarya’s family has sought the assistance of a Telugu association in the US to facilitate the sending of Aishwarya’s body to India.
