NEET exams conducted peacefully

Ranchi: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam by the National Testing Agency (NTA) was conducted on Sunday at 10 centres in the district following strict verification of candidates.
In addition to passing through metal detectors as part of the screening process, candidates were subjected to a rigorous screening system prior to the examinations.
The temperature of all students were also checked for any Covid symptoms. The exam in pen-paper mode was held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm. Candidates were asked to report at the centre from 11 am and the entry was closed after 01:30 pm. Around 10,000 students appeared in the exam.
According to the students, the paper was moderate. Shreya Sarkar, an examinee, said, “Overall, it was a moderate. However, chemistry and biology papers were a bit tough.”
