Two killed in separate incidents in Ganjam dist

Berhampur: Two persons were killed by unknown miscreants in different places in two separate incidents in Ganjam district on Saturday evening.
While a 54-year-old man, identified as Sanatan Choudhury, was hacked to death by a group of miscreants near his house at Acharya Bihar under Bada Bazar police station here, one Kuni Nahak (62) was stoned to death by some unknown persons in Jahami under Rambha police station.
The reasons behind their murders are yet to be ascertained. Police have started an investigation and no arrests have been made so far in both the cases. Choudhury, a bus hawker, was returning home when a group of at least five persons attacked him with sharp weapons. He was immediately taken to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here where the doctors declared him dead.
