PATNA: Another drop in Covid-19 cases was witnessed in the state on Friday with 57 people testing positive for the virus against 34,417 samples tested.
Meanwhile, the World Health Irganization also declared on Friday that Covid-19 was no longer a global health emergency.
With the decrease in the number of cases in the past few days, the state's positivity rate has come down to 0.166%.
On Thursday, the state had registered 85 Covid-19 cases.
Of the 57 new cases, Patna accounted for 12, followed by Gaya (9), Jehanabad (5), Khagaria (5), Munger (5), Muzaffarpur (3), Bhaglpaur (3), Purnia (3), Kaimur (3) and East Champaran (2). Other districts registered one case each.
