Citizens gear up for last week of Happpy Streets

Thane: The third and last week of Happy Streets in Thane for this season is scheduled between 6.30am and 9am on Pokhran road-2 this Sunday.
The event promises to be a fun filled affair with a variety of recreational and fitness activities ranging from sports, music, fitness including a section dedicated to children on the 400m stretch of Pokhran road-2 between BP Petrol Pump, Majiwada and Subhash Nagar bus stop.
The carnival that attracted several Thane residents over the last two sessions will continue to hold several engaging activities like chessboard, mini bowling, zumba, drum zones, yoga, among others in addition to several recreational sessions for children too. In addition to engaging events like street chalk drawing, giant jenga, snakes and ladders, marbles, mini bowling and lagori, participants can also join in for initiatives like interactive nature puzzle, pong glasses with ball game and wooden cup and ball games among others. Few social awareness games and activities have also been designed for keeping the children involved.
