Recently, schoolchildren who were held behind fencing for security purposes hailed prime minister Modi when he traveled to karnataka to campaign there. A meme was made that featured a picture of Modi with schoolchildren overlaid on an old photograph of the German dictator Adolf Hitler with youngsters. prakash raj shared this meme and stated, "History repeats... Behind the barbed wire is the future... BEWARE…”

Prakash Raj's comparison of Modi to Hitler was supported by some online commenters, but it was criticized by others who weren't impressed. The karnataka election has turned into a hotly contested campaign, with the bjp attempting to maintain its hold on power and the congress party putting in a determined effort to topple the chief minister Bommai-led administration.

After Modi won the 2014 elections, numerous experts have been debating the direction of events in a wide variety of ways.
