KOTA: Congress party workers, led by party’s Kota city president Ravinder Tyagi, protested against BJP MLA Madan Dilawar for his comments against party’s national president
Mallikarjun Kharge and burnt his effigy metres away from Dilawar’s house at Mataji Mandir Circle near Kota Medical College on Friday.
While speaking to the media during the protest, Tyagi termed Dilawar mentally disturbed requiring treatment and warned party workers would gherao Madan Dilawar and tear his clothes whenever he was out of home and that he must face the anger of party workers for his disgraceful comment again Kharge.
Tyagi demanded Dilawar to seek apology for his comment to avert Congress party workers’ anger. He also warned Dilawar that party workers would treat him well if he again ventured to disturb functioning of Mahangai Rahat camp.
BJP’s state general secretary and MLA from Ramganjmandi in Kota, Madan Dilawar, had earlier reacted to national Congress president Kharge for his remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi that termed him a ‘poisonous snake’.
Reacting to the comment against Modi, Dilawar had said national president of Congress party had turned 80. God might take him up any time but he would pray to God not to take him up for minimum 200 years.
They (national Congress leaders ) were the group of Ali Baba and 40 Chor and of mad (people) , who could do anything.
