Fire at Bank of Baroda in Kharalwadi, no casualties
According to officials, furniture, documents and other materials in the bank were gutted.

Fire at Bank of Baroda in Kharalwadi, no casualties

Bank of Baroda’s Kharalwadi branch in Pimpri Chinchwad caught fire in the early hours of Saturday. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The control room of Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade received a call about the fire at the bank premises around 2.30 am. A fire tender and water tanker were soon pressed into service.
“We received a call informing us about the fire from the security guard at the bank. Our team rushed to the spot immediately. Bank officers also arrived and opened the locks. Then the firemen went about dousing the blaze. Furniture, documents and other material in the bank were gutted,” said leading fireman Gautam Ingawale.
