Delhi University Proctor Rajni Abbi on May 6 objected to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Delhi University PG Men’s Hostel and called it a security breach for himself and the students as well. On May 6, Gandhi visited Delhi University North Campus and interacted with the students. During his visit, he sought to know about the issues faced by the students and their career plans. He also had lunch with the students at the hostel.Reacting to the same, she said, “I got a message and rushed to spot. There was a whole mod of students. Around 100-150 students were there. They were not students, they were outsiders. He was sitting in the mess, having food. He was surrounded by a group of students. It was all staged. If it was planned, they should have informed and sought permission from the university. He is a person of national importance. He has Z+ security. At least the area’s SHO should have been informed. It’s a major security breach. And major security for himself as well as the students. If anything happened who would be responsible?”
