Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) clinched wins over Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) respectively in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday.

CSK’s win took them to second place with 13 points, while DC remained rock-bottom of the points table despite victory over RCB.
Against MI, Ruturaj Gaikwad (30) and Devon Conway (44) anchored CSK’s chase of 140 while Shivam Dube remained unbeaten on 26 from 18 balls.
In the second match, fifties from Virat Kohli and Mahipal Lomror were not enough for RCB as Phil Salt’s 87 helped DC chase down a target of 182 in 16.4 overs.
Gujarat Titans (GT) currently occupy top spot with 14 points from 10 matches after their win over RR on Friday. Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, climbed a place to ninth with eight points from 10 matches following their win over RCB on Saturday.

RCB skipper Faf du Plessis on Saturday crossed the 500-run mark against DC with a knock of 45, to keep the Orange Cap. Du Plessis now has scored 511 runs from 10 matches. Sitting at the second position is CSK’s Devon Conway with 458 runs while RR’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is third with 442 runs.
Tushar Deshpande took two wickets against MI, and as a result, he was the new owner of the Purple Cap with 19 scalps from 11 matches.
Mohammed Shami has been pushed down to second place with 18 wickets.
Shami’s teammate Rashid Khan is third with 18 wickets as well, after his figures of 3/18 on Friday.
