Solid Rock Church pastor selling music-themed house and farm for $5.7M

The pastor of Solid Rock Church in Monroe is selling his custom-built home and adjacent 27-acre horse farm for the recently reduced price of $5,735,000.
The 3,800-square-foot house on 10 acres of land pays homage to Pastor Lawrence Bishop II's background as a former professional bull rider and member of the Christian metal band, Bride, formed in the 1980s.
Bishop's eclectic digs feature rooms painted in vibrant shades of purple with guitars hung on the walls, doors inscribed with images of music notes and a music room.
The house has four bedrooms and four baths with a five-car attached garage and four-car detached garage.
Outside features include a pond, high-pressure water well for livestock, 12 horse stalls and a rodeo riding arena.
The pastor, who's mother, Darlene Bishop, founded the southwest Ohio church known for the 62-foot sculpture of Jesus Christ out front, is selling his house and farm to buy a bigger farm nearby, said listing agent, Anthony Norvell with Keller Williams Community Partners in Miamisburg.
