“Karnataka will become a PFI valley…” Himanta Biswa Sarma’s dig at Congress

As the war of words continued headlong between the rival parties contesting in the Karnataka Assembly Polls to woo electors, Assam Chief Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma listed out reasons for the people of the state to not settle on Congress. “DK Shivakumar is a family member of Tipu Sultan. Mughals attacked Assam 17 times but we were undefeated. Kodagu people defeated Tipu Sultan 20 times and sacrificed their lives. Siddaramaiah is saying he wants to celebrate Tipu Sultan Jayanti. Go celebrate his Jayanti in Pakistan or Bangladesh. You have no right to do this in India. If Congress will regain power, Karnataka will become a PFI valley. So vote for BJP, PM Modi,” said Assam CM Sarma while campaigning for the BJP ahead of Polls.
