A 70-year-old man from Wardha, Gajanan Dewlikar, was allegedly duped of ₹1.52 crore by three persons, including a 55-year-old imposter Anil Thakre posing as an Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) official, between 2018 and April this year.
NAGPUR: A 70-year-old man from Wardha, Gajanan Dewlikar, was allegedly duped of Rs 1.52 crore by three persons, including a 55-year-old imposter Anil Thakre posing as an Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) official, between 2018 and April this year.
Thakre had introduced Dewlikar to Mukhtyaar Mohd Ali and Nazeem Ali. The trio tricked Dewlikar to cough up ₹1.52 crore on the pretext of selling a plot to him on Umred Road. The trio had claimed the land belonged to NIT.
