Organic Food Festival begins in city

Jaipur: Agriculture minister Lalchand Kataria on Friday said that the use of organic products is healthy and nature friendly. It is the need of the hour that common people use organic foods and secure the resources for future generations.
Kataria was speaking at the inauguration of the Organic Food Festival being held from May 5-7 under the joint aegis of the cooperative department and CONFED at Shilp Gram of Jawahar Kala Kendra.
He said the whole world is celebrating 2023 as Millets Year, and coarse grains are in focus in Rajasthan. “Research has found that organic food is better for health. Organic farming has got special attention in the government’s separate agri budget,” he said. TNN
