More than 1,000 individuals have sought refuge in the Cachar district of Assam after fleeing violence in Manipur's Jiribam district. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has requested that the district administration provide assistance to those displaced. Meanwhile, the Meghalaya government has arranged special flights to evacuate students and other individuals stranded in Manipur. In addition, 30 people, primarily women and children, fled to Mizoram from the affected areas in Manipur on Friday.
