Decision was taken so that the young leadership should come forward: Sharad Pawar

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chief Sharad Pawar on May 06 said that he had taken the decision to leave the post of party president so that the young leadership should come forward in the party. Sharad Pawar said, “To get free from the responsibilities as Chief, I had taken the decision. With the blessings of people from Maharashtra and the country, I was able to successful serve them. First thing is to create a leadership which could take the responsibility of NCP not only in Maharashtra but in the nation.”
