SCO bilaterals: Focus on border with China

During his second bilateral meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Qin Gang, Indian Foreign Minister, S Jaishankar, emphasized that the Sino-Indian border issue in eastern Ladakh must be fully resolved for bilateral ties to return to normal. Prior to the meeting with Qin Gang, Jaishankar had a "trust-based" exchange with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on various bilateral and global issues. Both meetings took place in Delhi ahead of the SCO foreign ministers' meeting, which commenced later in the day with a dinner and cultural program hosted by Jaishankar.
