Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra on Thursday met Team 9, councillors and residents of ward 26 of Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC)-Greater and appreciated their efforts to keep the area clean even during sanitation workers' strike.
The governor urged everyone to join them in the Shramdaan campaign and in conducting such cleanliness drives in their localities.
The team associated with the cleanliness campaign in Jaipur city has completed 3,178 consecutive days of Shramdaan. Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra also met the team at Raj Bhawan.
Ward 26 councillor Dinesh Kanwat said, “We have been working to keep our ward clean for years now. The team has conducted cleanliness drives at the city railway station, Sindhi camp, and Ramniwas garden.” TNN
