Karnataka Polls: Unlike Congress, CM Bommai increased reservations for Dalits, Adivasis, says JP Nadda

Days before the much-anticipated Karnataka elections 2023, BJP national president JP Nadda on May 05 campaigned in poll-bound Karnataka’s Raichur. While addressing the campaign, JP Nadda hit out at Congress saying that Congress has done the work of stopping reservation but CM Basavaraj Bommai has increased the reservation.JP Nadda said, “The Congress has done the work of stopping the issue of reservation, which was going on for a long time, but Bommai Sahab increased the reservation for Dalits by 2 per cent, Adivasis by 4 per cent and Lingayats by 2 per cent. With this, reservation on the basis of religion has been abolished.”
