CBI raids Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, wife Anita over fund diversion charges

The Central Bureau of Investigation has raided 7 locations linked to Jet Airways and its founder Naresh Goyal and his family. The raids are related to a fund diversion case filed by Canara Bank. It is accused that Jet Airways funds were siphoned off. Once India’s largest private airline, Jet Airways suspended operations in April 2019. Plans to revive the airline was in process by the Jalan Kalrock Consortium, but recent setbacks have been reported.
