Elijah Tucker, Xavier Musketeers transfer, commits to Longwood Lancers


Xavier Musketeers transfer Elijah Tucker announced Wednesday night via Instagram that he's committed to the Longwood Lancers.
The 6-foot-7 Tucker played just 22 minutes over seven games this past season at Xavier, scoring seven points with five rebounds, two assists and one steal. He redshirted as a freshman after dealing with an illness the summer before the 2021-22 season.
Longwood finished 20-12 last season, 12-6 in the Big South.
Tucker was a Class of 2021 commitment for XU, along with Cesare Edwards. Edwards transferred last month to Missouri State.
XU transfer KyKy Tandy committed last month to Jacksonville State. Center Dieonte Miles, a former Walton-Verona High School standout, committed to Morehead State.
The Muskies have added North Texas' Abou Ousmane, Rice's Quincy Olivari, Western Kentucky's Dayvion McKnight and Indiana's Logan Duncomb, a former Moeller High School standout, via the transfer portal.
