Cross complaints filed as parking dispute leads to fight in Ahmedabad's Sardarnagar area

AHMEDABAD: The Airport Police has registered cross complaint after a dispute over parking of vehicles on the main road opposite a milk parlour in Sardarnagar area of Ahmedabad.
In the first complaint, lawyer Nirajkumar Brahmbhatt registered a complaint against Hemraj Odh, Pravin Odh and their sons.
Brahmbhatt claimed that he got a call from one Sonu Eggwala who informed him that his brother Vishal Brahmbhatt has entered into a dispute with the odh residence who had parked their two-wheeler outside his milk parlour.
He stated that when he reached the parlour, he saw a crowd of nearly 100 men and women and there was a heated argument between them over parking their two wheelers. However, after a heated argument Hemraj, Pravin and his son assaulted them, and they even attacked them with sticks and iron rods. The other people who were residents of the society began pelting stones. The mob even damaged his car which was parked in the vicinity.
In the cross complaint, Bharat Odh registered a complaint against Vishal, Niraj, Mayank and Malay Brahmbhatt.
In his complaint, Bharat stated that some vehicles including cars were parked on the road near parlour and since he was chased by dogs, he parked his vehicle at the corner. However, Vishal asked him not to park his vehicle and even attacked him with a brick. The complainant stated that Vishal hit him with the brick while Niraj attacked him with an iron rod. Mayank and Malay also attacked them. As people gathered they fled the spot.
