2 terrorists killed in encounter in J&K's Baramulla

NEW DELHI: Two terrorists were been killed after an encounter with security forces in Jammu & Kashmir's Baramulla district on Thursday.
According to Kashmir Police Zone, incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including one AK 47 rifle and one pistol have been recovered. The identification of the terrorists being ascertained.
According to a police official, security forces launched a cordon and search operation early on Thursday morning acting on specific input about the presence of terrorists in the Wanigam Payeen Kreeri area of Baramulla district, in north Kashmir.
He said the search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon a search party of the forces, who retaliated.
