K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurates BRS Central Office in Delhi

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao inaugurated BRS central office in New Delhi on Thursday. The party constructed the party building on the land allotted by the Centre at Vasant Vihar in 2021. As of now the BRS has been operating from a rented office at Sardar Patel Road in the national capital.
The BRS chief is expected to visit the national capital frequently to interact with the national leaders as the TRS changed its name to BRS in the last October to go national. The party had already expanded its activities beginning with Maharashtra and other states.
Party leaders said the building with lower ground, ground and upper three floors was constructed with Vastu. Before inauguration of the building, rituals and special pujas were performed by Telangana minister Vemula Prasanth Reddy and party MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar on Thursday morning.
CM KCR, who arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning opened the building at 1.05 pm. Many party leaders including ministers and MLAs attended the inauguration.
The BRS Bhavan with ground and three floors was built in an area of 11,000 square feet. The lower ground has a media hall and servant quarters, a canteen, reception lobby and four chambers for general secretaries were built on the ground floor. BRS national president KCR’s chamber, other chambers and conference halls are located on the first floor. A total of 20 rooms were constructed on the 2nd and 3rd floors, including the president's suite, the working president's suite and the remaining 18 other rooms.
A party that began with the single goal of "Telangana state formation" achieved success despite difficult political conditions and with the overwhelming support of every citizen who believed in the idea of Telangana.
BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in a statement said the opening of our party's Delhi office is a proud moment for every pink soldier.
“This is the amazing journey that our visionary leader, KCR Garu, and everyone else who believed in him, his vision and the commitment of the BRS party have taken,” she said.
