Chiranjeevi to shoot ‘Bhola Shaankar’ in Kolkata

On May 1, the makers released South superstar’s Chiranjeevi’s new look as a yellow taxi driver from the upcoming film ‘Bhola Shaankar’. Since then speculation was rife whether the celebrated actor will shoot in Kolkata since the film’s backdrop is the City of Joy. Not only the yellow taxi but the posters also featured the Kalighat Mandir in the backdrop, indicating a Bengal-connect the film might have. Now, it has been confirmed that Chiranjeevi will be in Kolkata for the Meher Ramesh directorial. The shooting schedule will start from May 6 and will continue till May 10. The shooting will be done in and around some of Kolkata’s prominent spots including Maidan, Victoria Memorial, Dharmatala and Kalighat. Chiranjeevi will be seen as a taxi driver in the film which also has Keerthy Suresh and Tamannaah in the lead.
