BJP MLA alleges dairy booth scam

Jaipur: BJP MLA from Sanganer Ashok Lahoty on Wednesday raised questions on allotment process of 5,000 dairy booths across the state. The MLA along with councillors submitted a memorandum to DLB director Hridesh Kumar demanding transparency.
“About 22,000 applications were received for 563 dairy booth places for Jaipur Greater, out of which about 12,000 applications were cancelled. When three places were sought from one person, the lottery should have been drawn only from the number of applications received for each dairy booth,” said Lahoty.
“Brokers or mafia will try to cheat people in the name of allotment of dairy booths. If there is a scam then the officials will be responsible for it,” said Lahoty. TNN
