PM, guv, ex-deputy wish Gehlot on b’day

Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor Kalraj Mishra, and former deputy CM Sachin Pilot were among those who conveyed their wishes to chief minister Ashok Gehlot on his birthday.
“Birthday wishes to Rajasthan CM Shri Ashok Gehlot Ji. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” said PM Modi in his tweet, which the chief minister acknowledged with, “Thank you PM Shri @NarendraModi ji for your warm wishes.”
In his tweet, Pilot said, “Best wishes to CM Ashok Gehlot on his birthday. Wish him good health and long life.” Gehlot, who turned 72 on Wednesday, spent his birthday visiting “inflation relief camps” in Udaipur after he returned from campaign in poll-bound Karnataka in the afternoon.
The CM’s family joined him in Udaipur to greet him on his birthday. Gehlot will stay in Udaipur and return to Jaipur on May 5 after visiting other districts in Udaipur division over the next two days.
State Congress leaders organised blood donation camps at various districts and distributed food to celebrate their leader’s birthday. During a training camp organised for the party’s SC/ST and OBC leaders in Jaipur, Congress leaders cut a cake on the CM’s birthday. TNN
