Lotus is guarantee for devpt, good governance: Maurya

Kanpur: Addressing a public meeting in Kannauj in support of the BJP candidates in the civic elections, deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that, “No drama of Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party is going to work now because the wave of the BJP is strong. SP, BSP and Congress, all will be decimated on May 13.”
Addressing another public meeting in Auraiya, the deputy CM, also said that ‘add one more engine to the double engine government to make it ‘triple engine’, then see how Auraiya district will blossom like a flower.’
Appealing to the voters, Maurya said, “The lotus is the guarantee of development, of good governance and of preventing corruption. It’s my appeal to you to vote in favor of BJP candidates of Nagar Palika and other bodies of the district on May 11.”
Targeting the SP national president Akhilesh Yadav, Maurya said that MP Subrata Pathak, present on the dais, had disturbed Akhilesh’s sleep. “No work was done here in the SP government’s regime. When the government was formed, there were proposals for so many roads that it seemed that no work had taken place during the previous SP regime,” he said.
Later, while talking to reporters, the deputy CM hit out at Congress’s Karnataka assembly election manifesto, wherein it has promised to ban Bajrang Dal, and said, “Banning Bajrang Dal, and denying the existence of Lord Ram is the character of Congress. They (Congress) are experts in the politics of appeasement. This is a sin and it will finish the Congress.”
