Samsung has joined the World DJ Festival (WDJF) for 2023 as a sponsor. And the company plans to invite 1,000 people to the event through an online contest soon to be held on Instagram.

The 2023 World DJ Festival will take place at the Seoul Land theme park in Gwacheon between June 2 and June 4. As usual, DJs from around the world will host the event and spin records to keep the party going for two days. However, because Samsung is a WDJF sponsor this year, the company is bringing its annual Galaxy Fan Party to the music festival.

The goal is to communicate with more MZ (Generation M and Gen Z) customers at the event and bring together fans. Visitors can experience Galaxy products at the festival, and what’s more, Samsung prepared a contest.

Samsung is inviting 500 people and their friends to WDJF

While WDJF will be held from June 2 to the fourth of the month, Samsung announced it is holding a contest from May 4 to May 18, whereby Galaxy fans can win tickets to WDJF.

The contest will be held on Instagram, where participants can take a mirror selfie using the AR filter and post it along with the hashtag #Take me with you Galaxy. 500 winners will be picked and announced on May 23. These 500 fans can win two tickets each and bring one friend to the festival, which means Samsung made preparations for a total of 1,000 invitees.

Contest winners will not only be invited to WDJF, but they’ll enter the venue through a separate ticket booth and have exclusive access to the Galaxy Fan Lounge, where they can enjoy free drinks. But as of this writing, the event page is not online, so it’s unclear if the contest will be open to everyone worldwide or exclusive to Korean residents. Samsung should reveal more details once the page goes live later this week.
