JAISALMER: Alert BSF jawans gunned down two Pakistanis trying to cross the border and enter Indian territory near Barmer in Rajasthan on Monday night. Three packets containing heroin, worth nearly Rs 10 crore, were found upon the slain intruders.
A high alert has been declared along the entire border. BSF and police officers reached the spot and started an investigation on Tuesday. The entire area, around 10 km north of Munabao, was combed, but no other recovery was made.
Police said the identity of the deceased had not yet been established, but both appeared to be Muslims and aged 50-55 years and 30-35 years.
