Go First Airlines filed for bankruptcy at the National Company Law Tribunal on May 02. The airline has suspended its flights operations for three days, 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2023. Go First Airlines cited ‘operational reasons’ for the cancellation of the flights. “Due to operational reasons, Go First flights for 3rd, 4th and 5th May 2023 have been cancelled. We sincerely apologise to our loyal customers. We assure you that we will be back with more information soon. A full refund will be issued through the original mode of payment shortly,” Go First Airlines tweeted. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that DGCA has issued a notice to the airlines for sudden suspension. Meanwhile, passengers are suffering the most due to the sudden decision taken by Go First Airlines. On May 3, Go First counters at Amritsar Airport looked deserted amid the crisis.
